Leonard Jacobs interviews Teresa Eyring, Executive Director of Theatre Communications Group (TCG). Teresa begins by talking about an upcoming conference in Madrid, Spain that will be an International Gathering of Perfoming Arts Organizations.  She then talks, in some depth, of her experiences this past June at Theatre at the Center, TCG’S 2008 National Conference which was held in conjunction with the 2008 National Performing Arts Convention: Taking Action Together in Denver, Colorado.

Leonard brings the discussion to a more local level when he asks several questions of Teresa about the upcoming “Free Night of Theatre” which is set to have its first happening in New York and Chicago after having occurred for several years around the country. Leonard’s last question concerns an editorial Teresa wrote for American Theatre magazine in which she discusses “How Theatre Saved America”.
