NYTHEATRECAST is the voice of nytheatre.com, offering news, commentary, and highlights of the indie theatre scene in New York City. Each episode features lively conversation with actors, playwrights, directors, and other artists as they talk about the innovative and cutting-edge work they are creating.

We produce at least two new episodes every week. As far as we know, NYTHEATRECAST is the first regularly scheduled New York City theatre podcast offering original content. Our focus is on the vibrant and rich theatre created by artists off- and off-off-Broadway, as well as on theatre companies located in the outer boroughs of NYC (Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens, and Staten Island) and theatre companies whose leadership and/or mission represents underserved groups.

NYTHEATRECAST is a program of The New York Theatre Experience, Inc., a nonprofit corporation whose mission is to use new and traditional media to provide advocacy and support for the theatre community.
