Martin Denton hosts a new episode in the Indie Theater Life series as he interviews Colin D. Young. Colin's career dates back to the very first New York International Fringe Festival and his reminiscences of those days is fascinating.
Colin is an accomplished lighting designer and photographer. He speaks with Martin about his work in both fields in and out of theatre. He certainly has worked on several unique projects. He is an expert in theatrical photography and his reasons for having a professional photograph a production should be of interest to everyone in theatre. Additionally, Colin is artistic director of Reverie Productions of which he tells us a bit of background and what is currently happening with the company.
Colin is an excellent example of an indie theater artist who makes most of his livelihood in the fields he does best but not usually within the theatre community.
