First up to talk about his show, Evanston is Michael Yates Crowley. Next Martin introduces Jonny Porkpie, who like Michael has a past history with the festival. Jonny talks about how he originally got involved with festival and continues by describing his production, PRETENCION: un cirque de burlesque, un burlesque de cirque Doris Mirescu talks a bit about her entry 3! , a multimedia experiment based on a 1979 Fassbinder film. Paul takes his turn again, this time as director of The Jamal Lullabies which he describes as a song cycle.
The festival will be held at PS 122 and this podcast is filled with anecdotes about this and preceding undergroundzero festivals.
