The Ontological-Hysteric Theater has for many years presented the Incubator Series of new works. This year playwrights Kevin Doyle and Eric Bland will each present a new work. Both have been published in our Plays and Playwrights series of books (Kevin in '06 and Eric in '09) and Martin Denton welcomes them to this podcast well versed in their work.
Kevin's company, Sponsored by Nobody, will be presenting Behind the Bullseye a work he describes as part journalism, part documentary. Eric's company, Old Kent Road Theater, will be presenting I Stand for Nothing which he describes as a collage which he wrote partially on an excel spreadsheet.
Yes, these are two interesting new productions and both have fascinating thoughts about their work.
