Episode # 292 - TeatroStageFest 2009
Martin Denton welcomes back Susana Tubert, artistic producer of TeatroStageFest. She is joined by Gabriela Garcia, long time cast member of the Broadway musical, Chicago. Susana and Gabriela take turns talking about the varied lineup of shows that will be part of the festival ' some in English, some in Spanish, some from the NYC area, some from around the world.
Susana also tells us about the beginnings of the festival and what she sees as its mission. She and Gabriela talk about the many other facets of this event including panels that certainly sound most fascinating.
Gabriela also tells us about Revolucion Latina, of which she is co-director. This group of Latino theatre professionals is taking an active role in this year's festival.
