Episode # 288 - Jewish Theatre Festival

Julia Pearlstein, Trav S.D., and Edward Einhorn
Trav S.D. moderates a discussion about the new Jewish Theatre Festival produced by Untitled Theater Company #61. Edward Einhorn, artistic director of the company, begins by explaining the connection of the festival with the annual conference of the Association for Jewish Theatre. At Trav S.D.'s urging, Edward talks a bit about his own play, Doctors Jane and Alexander. He also tells us about the other plays that will be in the Festival.
Trav S.D. introduces Julia Pearlstein whose play Rat Bastards is also included in the lineup. Julia's inspiration for the play is most interesting as is her description of what the play is like. She also has quite a famous artist who will be responsible for her scenery and he just happens to be her father.
Edward closes with information about the conference, what it's like and where it will be held.
