Episode # 270 - The Nonsense Company: Conversation Storm
Martin Denton welcomes the Nonsense Company: Rick Burkhardt, Andy Gricevich, Ryan Higgins. The company will be performing Great Hymn of Thanksgiving and Conversation Storm at Interborough Repertory Theatre early in February. Martin encourages them to talk first about Great Hymn which all agree is not really a play although it definitely is theatre. Their description of this unique piece is a fascinating listen.
Turning to Conversation Storm, Rick, Andy, and Ryan treat us to an excerpt that should really make you want to rush out and see it. The three of them work together with a precision unmatched by most. The conversation continues as we learn about the background of each, how they take these pieces (and others) to various venues across the country, and much insight into the creation and process they use to develop their work.
